The MetraSCAN 3D is 1.5X more accurate than before, and this, whatever the environment-related conditions and instabilities. Its volumetric accuracy is an impressive 0.064 mm (0.0025 in.) It is very efficient even on black, shiny or multicolored surfaces.

Portability

We simplified the MetraSCAN 3D components and rethought its usability, in order to make it much more portable. Buttons located directly on the 3D scanner interact with the VXinspect dimensional software without the need to return to your computer, making it possible to solely focus on the part QC inspection. We furthermore isolated the grip from the structure of the MetraSCAN 3D, leading to a more rigid setup and less deformation. And by the way, we reduced its weight by 25%! From an ergonomics point of view, it is now much more comfortable to handle, leading to an extended use whenever the workload requires it.
