Lévis, November 15, 2012 – Creaform, leader in portable 3D measurement technologies, will be showcasing at EuroMOLD 2012 its latest innovation: the Go!SCAN 3D handheld white light 3D scanner. Launched in early October, the Go!SCAN 3D features intelligent hybrid positioning and highly intuitive scanning process. It can be used with the Go!MODEL complementary post-treatment and modeling software that allows the creation of watertight meshes & NURBS surface models from 3D scan files.
“From the very moment the Go!SCAN 3D was launched on October 3rd, it has drawn a huge interest and highly enthusiastic response from the 3D scanning community, explained Daniel Brown, Product Manager. The Go!SCAN 3D quickly found buyers with companies involved in activities as diverse as the development and manufacturing of sports gear, college-level education, 3D modelling & programming and prototyping. That and the feedback that we’ve been getting confirms that we were right on the mark when we decided on developing an affordable scanner that would deliver incredibly quick scans and real user-friendliness. We also succeeded in creating a scanner that reaches a new client base outside the industrial range, while maintaining the focus on its industrial capabilities as well.”
Daniel will be attending EuroMOLD in two weeks. He’ll be available to meet attendees that come by the Creaform booth (Hall 11, booth E67) to see a live demo of the Go!SCAN 3D scanner.
