Levis, Canada, November 28, 2006 - The Quebec city Chartered Accountant Association along with the Quebec City Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Assemblee Nationale Office of Quebec City and the Fonds regionaux de solidarite FTQ Quebec et Chaudiere-Appalaches, announced last night that Creaform won the 2006 Emergence Company award.
As in the previous editions, the Vision Trophy is given to companies that distinguish themselves for their innovation, their economical repercussions, and their job creation.
The price was given out to Mr. Andre Couture, Director of finances and corporative development. Mr. Charles Mony, president of Creaform, was present as well through satellite cell phone and therefore was able to thank the Chamber of Commerce, as well as congratulate Creaform employees for the win.
Thanks to continuous efforts and a company global vision, Creaform is able to distinguish itself not only in the Quebec province but also around the world. With 31 distributors and more than 200 clients worldwide, Creaform wants to increase its market and its distributor network on every continent.
The company has obtained in 2006 numerous awards in Quebec province and in Canada, such as the Canada Export Award and the 2006 Young Entrepreneurs Award. Also, Creaform was nominated finalist for another award for its international success which will be given next April.
